All of my brocade corsets are handmade of three layers of fabric: 2 layers of stiff cotton ticking, and your choice of brocade, which is either a silk/rayon blend or poly/rayon blend. Each corset has a 12" long front closing steel busk, and 18-24 whalebones. It also includes a grosgrain waistband to prevent stretching at the waist for tighter lacing. Each corset has 30 two-part eyelets and is laced with 10 yds of sparkle organza or 1 1/2" double faced satin ribbon. Please specify if you'd prefer heavier laces for your corset. The brocades I use are of the highest quality and I carefully match the pattern all the way around the corset to make sure the color bands are continuous.

I offer many brocades in many colors. I also offer corsets in virtually any color of dupioni silk. Here is a great source for silk dupioni. Contrasting binding and bone casings is optional. I only offer the short Victorian (circa 1860's Civil War Era) style corset at this time. We hope in the future we will be able to offer more styles. This corset measures approx. 13-14" down the center front and just covers the nipples. It is capable of cinching the waist 2-5 inches. The corset is very comfortable to breathe in and is easy to move around in. I do not recommend it for waist training.
